Sala Paradiso

Sala Paradiso (Hall Paradise) is part of ARCI San Lazzaro and the main hall where we’re dancing. It has been hosting balls since 1992 and through several makeovers and upgrades, leading to state-of-the-art lighting, sound and video systems, it finally became what we can see today. Sala Paradiso hosts evening balls throughout the week, ranging from traditional ballroom dancing to Latin American dances, group dances from the 60’s to the 90’s and Bologna’s traditional dance: Filuzzi.
Sala Paradiso is also used as a theatre and conference hall, hosting from theatre pieces to puppet shows and concerts, most notably Paradiso Jazz, attracting fans from all over the province.

Sala 77

Sala 77 (Hall 77) is entitled to the club members who in 1977 decided to roll up their sleeves to repair and renovate the old farmhouse that hosts the hall (still known as the “Red House” because of its wall colour). They also created a space to play the local game of bocce (a sort of bowling game) on the side. Thursday’s balls and the contest finals will happen here.
Given the size and the wide range of uses of the building, attention was paid to thermal comfort and interior noise reduction by installing acoustic panels on the main walls, granting a very high-quality experience in all conditions of use.

The park

The structure is surrounded by a beautiful park, perfect for walks, relax, having a chat with friends or attending one of our workshops surrounded by the nature!

Where to sleep

We know that about sleeping at a festival there are different kinds of needs … we have worked hard to fulfill them all!

gym

There are people who love to live festivals intensively, who never want to stop enjoying every minute and every emotion during those three days … well, from Friday 7th’s afternoon to Monday 10th’s morning you can place your mattress and sleeping bag FOR FREE on the wooden floor of the gym Palayuri, at only 5 minutes walking time from the festival venue!
It is located in Via della Repubblica 4, 40068 San Lazzaro di Savena (BO). In the gym there are a dozen WC and two changing rooms (for women and men respectively) with 3 showers each (they are open, so if you need more privacy, you have to bring a swimming suit).
We advise you NOT to leave valuable goods in the gym: our volunteers will take care of the safety of the place, but the organization does not assume responsibility for theft and/or loss.

N.B. If you want to be sure about a place to sleep in the gym, registration is mandatory.
